PROTOCOLS
NOTHING contained within these protocols is meant
to
delay rapid patient transport to a receiving facility. Patient care should be
rendered while en-route to a definitive treatment facility.
The General Assessment protocols must be followed in the specific sequence noted. For all other treatment
protocols, the algorithm defines the care every patient should receive, usually in the order
described.

Directions: 1. Press button for protocol desired. 2. Press appropriate buttons when events
occur. 3.
At end of incident, press the report button at the bottom of the protocol page. 4. Fill in Report
fields. 5. Press send to email.
